1 Injured In Shooting, Road Blocked

DENVER (CBS4) - Police activity blocked a section of road in downtown Denver Friday morning.

A man was shot in the 2800 block of Welton Street shortly before 5 a.m. He was hit in the leg and taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

A stretch of Welton was closed due to the investigation, which also affected an RTD line. A bus bridge was being used for the D line, which goes to 27th & Welton.
