Authorities: Colorado Man Killed In Crash In New Mexico
ANTON CHICO, N.M. (AP) - Authorities say a Colorado man has been killed in a highway crash in New Mexico's Guadalupe County.
New Mexico State Police officers say the accident occurred Tuesday morning on U.S. 84 south of Anton Chico when a pickup truck crashed into the back of a semi-tractor trailer.
They say the impact of the crash killed the driver of the pickup, identified as 27-year-old Martin Alfredo Berdeja of Aurora.
Police say Berdeja was pronounced dead at the scene.
They say alcohol doesn't appear to have been a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
