Man Shot In Head While Sitting In Car In KFC Parking Lot
WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4) – A suspect in a shooting in Westminster has turned himself in and is in custody.
According to police, Thomas Flynn, 30, is the suspect in a shooting that occurred just before 7 p.m. Saturday in the parking lot of the Kentucky Fried Chicken located at 92nd Avenue and Federal Boulevard.
According to Investigator Kate Kazell with Westminster Police, the suspect allegedly shot the "unidentified male victim in the head while he was sitting in his car in the parking lot."
Kazell said the suspect and the victim had been talking to each other for a period of time before the shooting.
The victim was taken to the hospital. His condition hasn't been released but he said to be alive.
A background check revealed that Flynn has an extensive criminal history.
