Most of Larimer County and Boulder County are now in the 'D0' drought category which means pre-drought conditions are being experienced.

Parts of Grand County and Jackson County are also included.

An extremely dry June and a stretch of hot weather have caused conditions to rapidly change after a fairly wet winter and spring.

Portions of extreme southwest Colorado also continue to experience abnormally dry conditions.
