Colorado Law Enforcement React To Dallas Shooting

DENVER (CBS4) - Law enforcement agencies are grieving for Dallas, Texas in the wake of a deadly sniper attack that killed five police officers, and wounded seven others.

Friday morning, social media was filled with messages of condolence including some from Colorado.

Lakewood Police Department posted, "Our thoughts are with the men, women, and the families of the Dallas PD. We stand with you and send our condolences"

Fort Collins Police tweeted, "This has been a tragic day for so many people. Our deepest condolences go out to everyone who's hurting right now."

Denver Police said,"So deeply sad...Our hearts break with yours."

Jefferson County Sheriff's Office posted, "We are broken hearted, but our resolve is intact. We stand strong, stand proud, we stand ready. #callusifyouneedus."

These are just  a few of the messages sent out today in support of the resident of Dallas in the wake of a deadly shooting focused on police officers.
