Police Search For Man Wanted In 3 Attempted Sex Assaults

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver hope someone will recognize a man in a composite sketch wanted in three attempted sexual assaults.

Police are investigating the assaults that have similar details with similar suspect descriptions. In each case the victim is grabbed from behind, thrown to the ground and assaulted.

The locations of the attacks are:

June 1 about 8 p.m. in the 700 Block of Ash Street, July 2 about 3 p.m. in the 1400 block of Lafayette Street and July 5 about 8 p.m. in the 1800 block of Glenarm Street.

People who live in the neighborhood of 7th and Ash said police officers canvassed the area the next day and notified them about what happened.

"It just blew my mind after I heard about it, this is such a quiet block," said resident Tommy DeMarco.

Jamie Gentry also lives in the area and was shocked to learn of the assault.

"The time of day, that is was eight o'clock at night, it was still light out! That was a little concerning," said Gentry.

The suspect is described as a white male in his mid-30s, 5-foot-10, medium build with short platinum blonde hair.
