Firefighters Quickly Contain Grass Fire In Fort Collins
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4)- Firefighters quickly gained control of a brush fire burning at the end of West Horsetooth Road on Tuesday afternoon.
The fire broke out just after noon. When crews arrived they found the fire burning in a stand of cottonwood trees in Spring Canyon Community Park.
Firefighters worked for a little more than an hour to contain the fire to less than an acre.
The fire was human-caused and the person responsible was issued a citation for fourth-degree arson.
