Property May Have Been Motive In Retired Firefighter Murder Case
COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (CBS4) - New details have been revealed about an arrest in the murder of a retired firefighter.
A detective believes the motive for the shooting death of Daryl Ritz, 58, had to do with property.
Last week, Ritz was on his father's land in rural El Paso County when he was shot and killed.
The suspect, Gustavo Torres-Gonzales, is due in court Wednesday afternoon. Investigators say he was on that property without permission.
So far it's not exactly clear why Torres-Gonzales was there.
