2-Alarm Fire Forces Evacuation At Trailer Park In Dotsero

DOTSERO, Colo. (CBS4)- A two-alarm fire at a mobile home park in Dotsero has forced an evacuation of all residents.

The fire started Tuesday afternoon at the mobile home park in Dotsero, east of Glenwood Springs.

A caller reported 20 foot flames coming from a cabin under construction.

Firefighters said the cabin, two storage trailers and a crane were destroyed.

Firefighters say the fire put out a lot of black smoke that caused poor visibility for drivers on Interstate 70.

Witnesses told CBS4 news they heard a series of explosions.

No one is hurt. Residents were allowed to return home once the fire was under control.

What caused the fire is under investigation.
