Woman Dies After Falling From Raft On Arkansas River
CANON CITY, Colo. (AP) — Fremont County authorities say a woman has died in a rafting accident on the Arkansas River.
Sheriff's Sgt. Megan Richards says the victim, a woman in her 40s who has not yet been identified, died Sunday after falling out of the raft west of Canon City. She had been on a trip with a commercial rafting company at the time of the incident.
Her cause of death and other details about the incident have not yet been released.
