Mark Sanchez Tears Ligament In His Thumb

DENVER (CBS4) - Broncos quarterback Mark Sanchez won't take part in drills during the start of organized team activities after tearing a ligament in his thumb.

That's according to the team, which posted a story on their website saying Sanchez's injury is to his non-throwing hand. They said he underwent minor surgery.

Sanchez sustained the injury during the team's strength and weight lifting drills.
