FBI Offers $2,000 Reward In Compass Bank Robbery

WESTMINSTER, Colo. (CBS4)- The FBI is searching for a bank robber who targeted a Compass Bank in Westminster over the weekend.

The FBI tweeted out an alert on Monday with a picture of the suspect.

The FBI said about noon on May 14, the man walked into the BBVA/Compass Bank located at 7347 Federal Boulevard in Westminster. He handed the teller a note demanding money and ran away from the bank, getting into a purple or dark-colored two-door hatchback.

The suspect is described as an Asian male, 5-foot-6 to 5-foot-8 with a skinny build. He was wearing baggy clothing that was dark in color, including a dark hoodie with the hood up, dark sunglasses and a scarf covering his face.

The FBI has offered a $2,000 reward for tips leading to arrest of the man wanted in the robbery. Anyone with information is asked to call 720.913.7867.
