Mother Of Quintuplets Thanks Medical Staff 15 Years Later

DENVER (CBS4)- A mom of quintuplets returned to the hospital where her children were born 15 years ago to thank the medical staff.

Eva DeLoera gave birth to three girls and two boys at St. Joseph Hospital on Mother's Day in 2001.

The babies were 12 weeks premature and spent months in the NICU but now those babies have grown into teenagers.

The family returned to the hospital on Monday night to see their doctors, nurses and other caregivers.

"These 15 years have gone by quickly. It feels like probably five years because it's so, you know, go, go, go, go, go," said DeLoera.

All the siblings will graduate from 8th grade this year. Their 15th birthday is on Friday.
