GiveLIVE Concert Raises $200,000+ For Bonfils Blood Center

DENVER (CBS4)- The GiveLIVE Concert on Saturday raised more than $200,000 for the Bonfils Blood Center.

Singer/songwriter Matt Nathanson performed at the Paramount Theater in Denver on Saturday. Nathanson and singer Keaton Simons performed acoustically.

Nathanson said he was proud of the concert for a cause like blood donation because he has a personal connection to the cause.

"I give blood at home. My wife gives blood. And then her sister had sort of a mystery illness that they sort of figured out and for a long time needed transfusions and stuff," he explained.
