Police Identify Suspect In Downtown Denver Shooting
DENVER (CBS4)- Police have identified the suspect arrested after a shooting early Sunday morning in downtown Denver that left four people injured.
About 1:35 a.m. Sunday officers near 14th and Market Street heard five gun shots and ran toward the gunfire.
When they arrived at the parking lot located at 1375 14th Street, they saw a gray vehicle speeding away.
Two officers also saw a white, newer model BMW 2-door sedan with multiple victims inside suffering from gunshot wounds. Four people suffered injuries in the shooting.
A short time later, a man walked into the District 4 Denver Police station and told the clerk he was involved in the altercation in the parking lot.
Nghia Trong Tran, 31, remained in custody on Monday for investigation of first-degree assault. His car was placed into the police holding garage.
