I-70 Lane Closure Through Eisenhower Tunnel Begins
CLEAR CREEK COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The westbound direction of Interstate 70 through the Eisenhower Tunnel is down to one lane for the next two days.
The right lane was closed at 10 p.m. Tuesday for 24 hours.
Crews are working to replace a concrete barrier that's crumbling because of the winter weather and extreme freeze-thaw cycles.
The lane will reopen Friday morning at 8. Work will resume again on Sunday, April 24, at 10 p.m. until complete.
