Fiancé Of Murdered Snowplow Driver: 'We Had Our Whole Life Planned Out'

By Tom Mustin

LITTLETON, Colo. (CBS4) - A family is pleading for help after what Littleton police are calling a "random" murder.

Jaime Albert Villarreal, 23, had been plowing a parking lot in Littleton last month when two people attacked him. The killers are still on the loose.

"He was an amazing dad. He loved his kids so much," said Villarreal's fiancé Natasha Espinoza.

Espinoza fought back tears describing the father of two.

"He didn't deserve any of this," she said.

Villarreal was shot to death in the early morning hours of March 18. He and another person had shown up to plow the parking lot of a Littleton office building. They were carjacked and shot by two men. Villarreal died on the scene, the other man survived. Their stolen plow truck was found burning two miles away.

Espinoza says Villarreal was a hard worker and great father. He had just received his commercial driver's license and had big plans for the future.

"We had our whole life planned out and in a matter of minutes -- it's gone," she told CBS4.

On Wednesday Villarreal's mother Ericka held up pictures of her son and begged for help in finding the killers.

"Nothing that happens going forward will bring him back, but we need peace in our lives and we need justice," she said.

Police are hoping a sketch of one of the suspects will generate some leads.

While detectives hunt for clues in a case growing colder by the day, Espinoza issued a final plea for justice.

"Just please, people, whoever knows anything, we need you to come forward," she said.

Another GoFundMe account has been established for Villarreal's daughter, Leah.
