Body Found Inside Burning Building Identified As Property Owner
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4) - The body found inside a burning building in Douglas County on Sunday has been identified as the property owner.
Douglas County Sheriff's Office Deputies arrived at the scene in the 2900 block of Oakland Drive at approximately 2 a.m. Sunday Fire personnel were already on scene battling a fully engulfed structure fire.
The standalone structure was between the home and a barn on the property. The body found inside the building has been identified as John Sylvester, 65.
Douglas County Coroners told CBS4 the investigation into Sylvester's death continues but nothing appears suspicious.
