Two people died in the crash near Colorado Boulevard and Arapahoe Road in Centennial just before 4 p.m. Investigators believe Taden Jones, 18, was driving a blue sedan when he crashed into two people riding in a silver car as they tried to pull onto a side street.

Deputies say even though they made an arrest, they are still investigating the crash.

"They will be looking at speed, they'll be looking at angle of impact, they'll be interviewing people ... more people than they have already," Julie Brooks with the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office said.

Jones is being held on a $50,000 bond.
