Epic Skiing Reported At Winter Park Resort After Historic March Snow

DENVER (CBS4) - Winter Park announced on Friday that March was their second snowiest in history with 101 inches of new snow.
Snowfall records at the resort span over half of a century.
Since the first flakes of the 2015-16 season started to fall last October they've measured 317 inches, or over 26 feet.
Spring skiing this year has been described by some as epic.
Andrew Hudson of Denver says, "Seriously skiers, take a day off, call in sick, but do what you have to do to get up here and ski that powder. It's up to my knees!"
Winter Park lifts and trails are currently scheduled to close at the end of business on Sunday, April 24.
Mary Jane plans to stay open through Saturday, May 7.
Lift passes for the 2016-17 ski season are already on sale at a discounted price through April 4.
Starting April 5 the prices will go up by $70.
