3 Suspects Wanted In Rape Investigation On CU Campus

BOULDER, Colo. (CBS4) - A rape investigation is underway at the University of Colorado Boulder campus.

Police say a female student was walking away from a party in the Williams Village residences Thursday night when she was attacked by three men.

It happened near the tower's north tennis courts on campus.

The incident is being investigated as a rape, and police are largely relying on tips for more information.

"If there was somebody who may not have seen what was going on, but if they saw these gentlemen roaming through the area we'd like to talk to them ... if you see something call 911 let the authorities get involved with it," said Scott Pribble of CU Boulder police.

The victim does not know her attackers. She gave police these descriptions of the three: a man with white skin and dark hair, another with dark skin and dark hair and a mustache, and a third with white skin and light hair.

All three were wearing hoodie sweatshirts at the time of the attack, sometime between 11 p.m. Thursday and 1 a.m. Friday.

Police do not know the ethnicities or ages of any of these men, or whether they are students. Anyone with information is asked to contact police.
