2 Women Spend Thousands With Credit Cards Stolen From Elderly Woman

GREENWOOD VILLAGE, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Greenwood Village are searching for two women accused of stealing a wallet from an elderly customer at a Panera Bread restaurant.

The theft happened on March 17 at the restaurant located at 5910 South Holly Street.

"The suspects entered Panera Bread, did not purchase any items and went directly to the table next to the victim where they could easily remove her wallet from her purse," police said in a statement.

According to police, the thieves spent thousands of dollars with the stolen credit cards.

"Within 30 minutes the victim's credit and debit cards were used at multiple locations including Target and Walgreens to make several thousand dollars in purchases," police said.
