Officials: Criminal Investigation Underway After Apartment Building Fire
DENVER (CBS4) - Officials with the Denver Fire Department says a fire at an apartment building on Sunday night may be criminal in nature.
The fire at Federal View Apartments sent 11 people to the hospital. Some people had to jump from windows to escape the flames.
One person who was hurt remained in critical condition on Monday night.
Residents returned to the building at Federal Boulevard near West 26th Avenue on Monday trying to salvage belongings.
Investigators have not said why they suspect the fire is a possible crime.
