Body Found Inside Parolee's Closet Identified

GREELEY, Colo. (CBS4)- The woman found dead inside a closet of a parolee in Greeley has been identified. Tonya Webster's body was discovered stuffed into a trunk in David Batty's apartment.

A parole officer made the discovery in the multi-family home on the 1400 block of 9th Ave in Greeley shortly before 5 p.m. Wednesday. A short time later officers arrested Batty, 53.

Greeley police say Batty has a history of domestic violence but additional details, including Batty's mug shot, aren't being released during the investigation.

Investigators did not specify if or how Batty may have known Webster.
