Officers Cleared In January Shooting Near Motel
DENVER (CBS4) - Two Denver police officers will not face criminal charges in connection to a deadly shooting.
In January, 32-year-old Ramone Lonergan was shot and killed in the parking lot of a hotel near Zuni Street and Speer Boulevard.
Officers were investigating a stolen vehicle when they say Lonergan pointed a gun at them.
Denver's District Attorney ruled Thursday that the shooting was justified, clearing the officers of any wrong doing.
