Bill Preventing Use Of Red Light Cameras In Neighborhoods Passes House

DENVER (CBS4) - A bill that would limit the use of red light cameras passed out of the state House on Tuesday.

The bill would not allow the cameras on local streets or in neighborhoods but would still allow them in school and construction zones and on major streets.

The exceptions were made after Gov. John Hickenlooper vetoed a red light camera bill last year.

The bill is now headed to the Senate.
