The 8th Annual Dream House Raffle Benefits Boys & Girls Clubs Of Metro Denver

DENVER (CBS4)- The 8th annual Dream House Raffle will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver. A beautiful $2.75 million home is the grand prize this year.

John Barry, the president of the Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Denver talked about how great the grand prize is on the CBS4 Morning News on Sunday morning.

"This is 4,000 square feet, it's got a study, it's got a workout room, indoor and outdoor pool, it's incredible," said Barry. "It's in Cherry Creek, it's one of those incredible opportunities for someone who is a winner."

"This is all for kids. It's the best thing about it. So, if you buy a ticket for $150 or three tickets for $400 or five tickets for $550, your odds are 1 in 20 to win. I mean, you don't get those odds in Las Vegas," said Barry.

"Even one ticket will buy 10 hours of helping a kid with homework. Our mission is to help kids have experiences to help them graduate from high school, with a plan for college and careers to give back to the community and have a healthy life," said Barry.

There is an early bird drawing on March 18 which is a chance to win a trip to Tuscany, the ticket purchase deadline is April 22 and the grand prize drawing for the dream home is May 6. There are a total of 2,700 prizes in addition to the dream home.
