Colorado City Ranks Top 3 In Happy & Healthy Cities List
DENVER (CBS4) - One Colorado city made it into the top three on a ranking of the healthiest and happiest cities in the country.
Fort Collins is third on the list. At the top is Naples, Florida, and Salinas, California is in second.
Gallup-Healthways compared the well-being of 190 communities nationwide. The study considered several factors including whether people liked where they lived and felt financially secure.
Boulder, Colorado ranked as the No. 1 community for physical well-being, with the lowest level of obesity in the nation.
Communities in the states of Florida, California, Colorado, and Texas accounted for 14 of the top 20 well-being communities.
