Man Found Dead In Home After SWAT Situation
AURORA, Colo. (CBS4) - Roads are back open and an overnight SWAT situation is over after a man was found dead in a home in Arapahoe County.
On Monday morning an Arapahoe County Sheriff's SWAT teams entered a home on the 20400 block of East Hampden Place and found the man inside.
The standoff started Sunday night when deputies who were doing a welfare check at the home were fired upon. Several roads were closed in the area during the standoff, and some nearby homes were evacuated.
Police didn't fire any shots at the home or the male during the standoff, according to Arapahoe County authorities.
The man's identity hasn't been released.
