Elk Cause Traffic Jam In Estes Park

ESTES PARK, Colo. (CBS4) - A traffic jam in Estes Park had drivers slowing just outside town on Sunday.

Brandi Applegate captured video of the resident elk herd moseying through the street.

Estes Park is the gateway to Rocky Mountain National Park, and elk are simply part of the community. Residents are accustomed to the creatures, and drivers were able to maneuver around them after a short pause.
