Boulder Businesswoman Killed After Getting Hit By Truck In New York City
DENVER (CBS4) - A Boulder mother and businesswoman is dead after a truck hit her in New York City.
Police say Elise Lachowyn, 48, was crossing 11th Avenue near West 37th Street at 10 a.m. Friday when she was hit.
The Boulder Daily Camera reports Lachowyn and her husband founded Think Outside Marketing headquartered in Boulder.
Carlos Torres, 51, was arrested for suspicion of failing to yield to a pedestrian.
Lachowyn was on her way to the North American International Toy Fair.
Lachowyn has a 6-year-old daughter. A GoFundMe page has been set up for her education.
