Broncos Return Home With Lombardi Trophy
DENVER (AP/CBS4) - The Denver Broncos are home with the Lombardi Trophy, marking the final touchdown of the 2015 season.
The team flew back Monday afternoon on a charter flight following their Super Bowl 50 win, touching down at Denver International Airport at about 3:40 p.m.
Fire crews welcomed the plane by spraying two large arches of water as it taxied down the tarmac. Meanwhile, someone in the cockpit waved a Broncos flag out the window.

When the doors opened the players came out led by Derek Wolfe holding the Lombardi Trophy. Other players were anxious to show off the bling. Chris Harris Jr. and C.J. Anderson both carried the trophy along the row of media and fans lucky enough to welcome the champs back.
The fans were delighted to just get a glimpse of the stars, including head coach Gary Kubiak. Peyton Manning or MVP Von Miller didn't appear to be on the flight. They are in demand and may be returning later.
The city is planning a concert, parade and rally downtown on Tuesday. The concert starts at 10 a.m. at Civic Center Park. CBS4 will broadcast the rally and parade live starting at 11 a.m.
