Brandon McManus Breaks Franchise Record For Field Goals In A Super Bowl
SANTA CLARA, Calif. (CBS4) - Broncos kicker Brandon McManus broke a franchise record for field goals in a Super Bowl with his third field goal on Sunday.
McManus kicked two field goals in the first half, which tied a franchise record for most field goals in a Super Bowl game. (Rich Karlis and Jason Elam had also kicked two field goals in a Super Bowl while they played for the Broncos.)
Then, in the third quarter McManus connected on a 30 yard field goal. It gave the Broncos a 16-7 lead.
McManus is 10 for 10 in field goal attempts in the playoffs.
