Man Wanted For Allegedly Using Deadly Weapon In Domestic Attack, Kidnapping

CENTENNITAL, Colo. (CBS4) - Deputies in Arapahoe County would like the public's help locating a man wanted in connection with a domestic violence incident that involved a deadly weapon.

According to the Arapahoe County Sheriff's Office, Rito David Mendez, 34, is wanted for first-degree assault with a deadly weapon, kidnapping and felony menacing for an incident that happened last Saturday in the 5400 block of South Perth Way in Centennial.

Mendez is described as being a Hispanic male, 6 feet tall and about 205 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He was last seen driving a white 1997 Chevy Tahoe with Colorado license plates 905-SXU.

The sheriff's officer warns that Mendez is presumed to be dangerous and not to approach him. Anyone who spots him is asked to call law enforcement immediately.
