Jupiter, Moon To Rise Together Over Next Few Nights

DENVER (CBS4) - Around the same time as the moon rises over the next few nights you will also notice something on the horizon that looks like a very bright star.
That "star" is actually the planet Jupiter and the two celestial bodies will put on quite a show this week.
Jupiter rises about an hour after the moon on Jan. 26 and the two will be close together for most of the evening.

And here's a bonus in the sky this week if you're willing to get up extra early over the next few mornings.
There's still time to try and catch five planets aligned on the same plane.
It looks like the weather across Colorado will cooperate this week if you want to gaze at the night or early morning sky thanks to a ridge of high pressure keeping us mostly clear.
