For a few days, Max's prognosis seemed hopeful. The Parker mayor has been in touch with the Gantnier family, and said while his liver was still facing some challenges, Max's heart seemed to be doing well.

The Parker Police Department made the announcement Monday that Max succumbed to his injuries.
