NFL Playoff Games This Weekend Feature 5 Super Bowl-Winning QBs

By CBS4 Photographer Brian Madden

DENVER (CBS4) - A franchise quarterback is the cornerstone of any franchise. The QB position, arguably, is the vital cog that powers every team. To have a Super Bowl signal caller is paramount.

This weekend, five Super Bowl-winning NFL quarterbacks will take the field.

Two of them will faceoff at Sports Authority Field at Mile High on Sunday.

Here is how these QBs have fared in the Super Bowl:

Peyton Manning (Indianapolis Colts/Denver Broncos)
Career Playoff record : 11-13
Super Bowl record: 1-2

Ben Roethlisberger (Pittsburgh Steelers)
Career Playoff record : 11-5
Super Bowl record: 2-0

Tom Brady (New England Patriots)
Career Playoff record : 21-8
Super Bowl record: 4-2

Aaron Rodgers (Green Bay Packers)
Career Playoff record : 7-5
Super Bowl record: 1-0

Russell Wilson (Seattle Seahawks)
Career Playoff record : 7-2
Super Bowl record: 1-1

Three more playoff victories this season will put Manning above .500. If that happens this year, then Manning would have led the Denver Broncos to another Super Bowl championship, leveled his Super Bowl success rate and would be the only NFL starting quarterback to win a ring with two different franchises.
