Purse Snatcher Makes Off With Officer's Badge & Gun
STRASBURG, Colo. (CBS4) - Deputies are looking for a purse snatcher who took a law enforcement officer's gun and badge.
The Adams County Sheriff's Office released a surveillance picture of the woman they say is stealing purses. They say the woman snatched a purse from an off-duty officer at the Tomahawk Truck Stop in Strasburg.
The officer's badge and gun were inside the officer's purse.
The woman also allegedly took a purse from another woman at a King Soopers. The crimes happened 30 minutes apart.
Authorities believe the woman is driving a silver or light gray sedan with a partial Florida plate of GBI-???.
