Omaha! Omaha! DIA Flight Boards Pay Homage To Peyton
DENVER (CBS4) - It's not Peyton Manning's voice that travelers are hearing on the trains at DIA this month, but visitors to Denver's airport will notice a subtle new tribute to the veteran quarterback on the flight boards.
With the uncertainty at quarterback that's been playing out this season for the Broncos, Denver International Airport chose to feature receiver Demaryius Thomas in their recorded greetings on the underground trains. Manning had been featured in previous years.
However, the airport is now having some fun with Manning's famous "Omaha" shouts.
Anyone headed out to the Nebraska city this week will see Omaha! instead of simply Omaha on the flight boards.
Last week DIA adjusted the flight boards so they displayed in orange and blue to celebrate the Broncos in the playoffs.
Manning is set to start at quarterback on Sunday against the Steelers. Watch the game on CBS4 at 2:40 p.m.
