Police Search For Suspects In Series Of Armed Robberies

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver are searching for the suspects wanted in a series of armed robberies the happened on Sunday.

Police say the following locations were targeted between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. on Sunday: 1000 Block of N. Lafayette Street, 1900 Block of S. Williams Street, 3800 Block of N. Lowell Boulevard and N. Quitman Street at W. 41st Avenue.

Police say the crimes were committed by at least three suspects one of whom was armed with a shortened shotgun.

The suspects were observed leaving at least one of the scenes in a dark-colored Toyota Rav4 or similar small SUV. The vehicle used in the robberies had noticeable damage to the front driver's side bumper.
