Barricaded Suspect Taken Into Custody After Standoff

DENVER (CBS4)- Police in Denver took a suspect into custody after a standoff on Tuesday afternoon.

Copter4 flew over the barricade situation at 2nd and Federal where the SWAT team was on standby outside the home.

Officers cordoned off the area surrounding 2nd and Federal Boulevard.

Eventually the suspect surrendered peacefully. He was wanted on domestic violence and menacing charges.
