Fort Collins Police Release Sketch Of Burglary & Assault Suspect
FORT COLLINS, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Fort Collins would like the public's help with information about a burglary suspect who they say assaulted a woman and stole her purse.
According to police, just after 8 a.m. on Monday officers responded to a report of a burglary in the 300 block of Swallow Road.
"The victim reported that she came inside from her backyard and noticed an unknown male entering her home. When he saw the victim he allegedly punched her in the face before fleeing with her purse, which contained a significant amount of cash intended for the victim's rent payment," police said in a statement.
The suspect is described as being brown-skinned, 5-foot-9, 170 pounds and in his late 20s. He was wearing a black hooded sweatshirt, red beanie, black gloves, and dark pants.
