Police Searching For Owner Of Dog That Attacked, Seriously Injured Another Dog

Editor's note: The woman who was jogging with her dogs saw this post on Facebook and has contacted the Animal Control Officer.

PARKER, Colo. (CBS4) - Police in Parker would like the public's help locating a woman whose dog attacked and seriously injured another dog.

According to police, on Sunday afternoon a woman was walking her dog named Skippy along Tallman Gulch trail between Legend High School and Cimarron Middle School when her dog was attacked by another dog.

Police are looking for a woman in her late 20s with long brunette hair. She was jogging on the trail with two dogs in a gray shirt or jacket and orange shorts.

One dog is described as being approximately 60 pounds, muscular, brindle-colored with white legs. The second dog is a dark colored long-haired shepherd type dog.

Skippy needed surgery after the attack.
