Masked Men Rob Marijuana Grow House In Canon City

CANON CITY, Colo. (AP/CBS4) - Police are investigating a home invasion and armed robbery at a marijuana grow location.

The Canon City Daily Record reports that police say three men wearing ski masks entered the residence around 9:40 p.m. Tuesday.

According to a press release, the masked men held three adults at gunpoint. There was a struggle for one of the suspects' guns and shots were fired.

Police say they believe one of the suspects was shot. Canyon City Police Department Lt. Billy Ray says one victim was bruised but did not have life-threatening injuries.

Ray says he doesn't know how much marijuana was on the property but it appears to be lawful.
