Latest Mission To Mars Starts In Colorado

AURORA, Colo. (CBS4)- The latest mission to Mars has started in Colorado.

Lockheed Martin's Mars Lander was shipped from Buckley Air Force to California on Thursday. The spacecraft will launch in March 2016.

The Insight Lander will help scientists learn more about Mars.

Lockheed Martin designed and built the spacecraft and will handle mission operations.
