Broncos Notebook, Dec. 17: C.J. Anderson Back At Practice

Post practice updates from Gary Kubiak:

-Demaryius Thomas was a rest day today.
-CJ Anderson on track to play Sunday.
-Peyton looked good again in his work (would he actually say otherwise?).

- Update from Mark Haas

Peyton Manning practicing for a 2nd straight day. Gary Kubiak said yesterday he did some individual drills, 7 on 7, and team periods, and hoping to do a little more today. Manning has been ruled out for Sunday though. Right now, signs point towards next week as being the decision week if Broncos stick with Brock or go back to Manning.

C.J. Anderson (ankle) back at practice today. With the team inside again, I'm guessing Anderson will be limited on the turf, but good sign that he was participating today.

Demaryius Thomas was not practicing. He was not on the injury report yesterday, so we will see what Kubiak says after practice.

On defense, Darian Stewart (hamstring) and Todd Davis (shoulder) both watching again today. TJ Ward (ankle) and Lerentee McCray (hamstring) both working with a trainer on the side. David Bruton, Omar Boldin and Danny Trevathan all practicing. Trevathan still had one final test to clear in concussion protocol but is able to practice.

Broncos are 6-1 on the road this year, a win Sunday would set a franchise record for road wins in a season.

Broncos can clinch a playoff berth with a win. They can clinch the AFC West with a win and a Kansas City loss.

Broncos are 14-7-1 all time vs. Steelers in the regular season, winning the most recent matchup in 2012.
