JEFFERSON COUNTY, Colo. (CBS4)- Among the 42 recruits graduating from 10 law enforcement agencies in Jefferson County on Thursday, only one graduate proposed to his future wife.

The proposal happened during the Jefferson County Sheriff's Office and Lakewood Combined Regional Law Enforcement Academy graduation where one Arvada police graduate got down on one knee after getting his badge... and she said "Yes!"

At the ceremony Jeffco District Attorney addressed the crowd and graduates.
