Mother Charged In Death Of 6-Week-Old Daughter
THORNTON, Colo. (CBS4)- A Thornton mother has been charged in the death of her infant daughter.
Marliese Marie Schreiber has been charged with one count of criminally negligent child abuse resulting in death and two counts of negligent child abuse regarding her other two daughters ages 1 and 4.
The charges allege that 6-week-old Nessa Muniz drowned in a bathtub at the family residence at 10521 Ashfield Street in Thornton on Nov. 22.
Schreiber, 27, was advised of the charges in Adams County Court on Tuesday. Her preliminary hearing is scheduled for Jan. 13, 2016 in Adams County Court. She is free on bond.
