Thaw Welcomed In Denver After City Spends Over 130 Hours Below Freezing

DENVER (CBS4) - For the first time since before Thanksgiving the temperature at 10 a.m. on Tuesday climbed above freezing at Denver International Airport.

According to the National Weather Service in Boulder it's only the 31st time that a 5-day stretch of below freezing weather has been recorded in Denver's climate record since 1872.

Daytime highs in Denver are forecast to climb into the 50s before the week is over.
