Colorado Lawmakers Lead House Of Representatives In Moment Of Silence
WASHINGTON, DC (CBS4)- Colorado representatives led the House of Representatives on Capitol Hill in a moment of silence on Tuesday to honor the victims in the Planned Parenthood clinic in Colorado Springs.
"I ask my colleagues to join me and my colleagues from the Colorado delegation and with the community of Colorado Springs for a moment of silence and to reflect upon the lives that were lost and to pray for their families and loved ones," said Rep. Doug Lamborn, a Republican representing Colorado Springs.
A gunman stormed the clinic on Nov. 28 and shot several people, killing three including a police officer.
The representatives from Colorado included Jared Polis, Diana DeGette, Ed Perlmutter, Mike Coffman, Ken Buck, Scott Tipton and Lamborn.
